Small Steps Toward a Cleaner Islamabad
On Sunday, 13 September 2026, the TADBEER community gathered at Trail 4 in Islamabad to swap screen time for trail time, fresh air, and real-world impact.
What started as a morning hike quickly turned into a collective effort to care for the natural spaces we share. Together, volunteers hiked the trail, picked up trash along the path, and reconnected with the simple idea that enjoying nature comes with a responsibility to protect it.

The morning brought together people from all walks of life who chose action over a quiet Sunday indoors. As volunteers made their way up Trail 4, the focus naturally shifted from a simple walk in nature to a hands-on restoration drive. Team members worked side by side, clearing litter along the slopes and restoring the natural state of the trail bit by bit.
Beyond the physical cleanup, the effort sparked genuine conversations among participants about civic ownership and environmental care. By the time the hike wrapped up, the trail was visibly cleaner, but the bigger outcome was the sense of shared responsibility carried off the mountain by everyone who took part.
